Zaman Foundation: Empowering Lives, Transforming Communities
- Zaman Foundation, formerly known as Zaman Relief Trust, emerged as a beacon of hope following the devastating earthquake that struck northern Pakistan in 2005. Our proactive approach involved empowering individuals to build their own houses, providing essential resources, and ensuring fair compensation for their efforts in the earthquake-affected areas.
- Rehabilitation and Housing: Our primary objective is to provide rehabilitation and housing to those impacted by disasters. We empower affected communities to lead their own rejuvenation and rehabilitation efforts after enduring great upheaval.
- Expanded Initiatives: Beyond earthquakes, we extend support to communities affected by other natural disasters, including floods. We prioritize the construction of water filtration plants in areas lacking clean drinking water. Moreover, we strive to provide access to vocational training and higher education for individuals who demonstrate passion and dedication to self-improvement.
- Collaboration and Compassion: We collaborate with trusted medical partners to deliver low-cost or free quality healthcare to those in need. By prioritizing the well-being and medical needs of the less fortunate, we actively contribute to creating a healthier and more equitable society.
